R&D Studies
ENCO aims to continuously increase the share allocated for R&D studies each year; by increasing its competent and qualified human resources in this field and ensuring their continuous development. It makes new plans and aligns its strategies accordingly to enrich its existing R&D experience and knowledge by participating in national and international research and development cooperation programs and collaborating with universities and research centers. In addition, it aims to spread the R&D culture throughout the company.
In the process of introducing a new service, ENCO aims to be among the first to design a feasible solution. ENCO constantly seeks new opportunities and solutions to improve existing processes and systems. In line with its corporate vision, ENCO aims to continuously innovate processes to increase efficiency, develop new services, and improve the quality of existing services.

Project Description
Improving Control and Audit Processes to Comply with Authorized Economic Operator (AEO/YYS) Standards
Project Details
The project focuses on the integration of requirements necessary for applying for the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO/YYS) Certificate—a globally recognized status offering privileges and facilitation in customs procedures for reliable companies—into ENCO's system.
In this scope, efforts were made to ensure that both existing practices and new legal regulations are followed in a systematic and process-improvement-oriented manner.
The innovative and R&D aspect of the project lies in the organization of entrance-exit recording systems, enhancing safety and security standards, and transforming warehouse and office operations into systematic and technology-driven structures.
As a result of the successful completion of the project, ENCO obtained the AEO certificate, proving its reliability in the industry. Expected outcomes include reduced operational costs, increased competitiveness, access to international benefits of the certificate, more cooperation opportunities with suppliers, and minimized uncertainties related to shipments.

Project Description
Establishment of Integrated Barcode Systems for the Control and Tracking of Textile Products
Project Details
The project focuses on creating a barcode system for textile products used in logistics operations.
With the barcode system, barcoded labels will be placed on rolls cut into predefined sizes for tone matching and then entered into inventory. Afterwards, rolls of different sizes will be automatically matched with suitable vehicle types based on their designated barcodes.
Key activities included:
- Fabric rolls with color codes and dimensions provided by the manufacturer were first delivered to the warehouse. Each roll was re-tagged with unique codes using handheld terminals to ensure correct delivery back to the manufacturer. Rolls were then categorized accordingly.
- Classified rolls were stored separately. Customers placed requests via ENCO Portal, which then assigned the rolls to appropriate vehicles based on size and tone automatically.
Expected Outcomes and Benefits:
- Optimized warehouse space by storing identical-sized fabrics together,
- Eliminated loss or mix-up of items by accepting them via the barcode system,
- Saved time during loading by grouping products beforehand,
- Reduced labor costs and increased profitability through efficiency.

Tracking of Quality Control Processes in Textile Logistics
Project Details
- The project involves conducting quality control checks for all textile products before reaching the final customer.
- It aims to ensure that products undergo final inspections before export. ENCO aims to raise customer satisfaction and support clients in quality control with its sectoral experience.
- Within ENCO warehouses, quality checks were carried out just before export to ensure conformity to buyer instructions and international standards.
Expected Outcomes and Benefits:
- Delivery of inspected products to customers before export,
- Proper packaging and reorganization of tested items in the warehouse,
- Identification of defective items or batches before shipment, allowing proactive action.

Project Details
The project aims to enhance the internal usage capacity of the logistics and transport management software (currently 5–10%) by using innovative integration techniques and methodologies such as agile, waterfall, and spiral models.
Project work includes defining new job types, reporting employee performance, optimizing inventory management, strengthening process monitoring, preparing the data environment for AI and machine learning models, early identification of risks, developing a user-friendly interface, and performing optimizations that reduce cost and time.
- Innovative and R&D Aspects: The software will be enhanced using new and uncommon technologies not widely adopted by competitors. Information will flow from a single entry point to related systems, ensuring integration across processes.

Process Optimization in Import, Export, and Warehouse Units Using Innovative Methods
Project Details
The project aims to enhance the performance and processes of ENCO’s departments using technologies such as RFID, GPS, M2M, and ERP, OMS, EDI, Web Services, and APIs.
Ar-Ge teams will model internal processes and develop software that allows tracking and optimization of transport operations, order management, and real-time shipment monitoring.
Innovative and R&D Aspects:
- The resulting software will be marketed, contributing to the national economy and employment. The process management tool will also be used to regulate and monitor internal operations and will be positioned for global markets.

- The project involves establishing an internal control and audit system to ensure efficient operations, safeguard assets, and detect errors and frauds.
- Innovative solutions using Asp.Net, MVC, MS SQL, JavaScript, CSS, Jquery, and Ajax will be developed. Each department (HR, IT, finance, etc.) will have control checklists, with a bottom-up approach to building a complete reporting system.

- The project will introduce a new internal product/process to reduce costs, enhance quality, and minimize risks. It may also serve as a foundation for future R&D projects.
- Helps maintain AEO/YYS and ISO certifications, eliminates penalties, improves profitability, enhances customer loyalty, and increases operational efficiency.
